"The FCG Difference" - It's a Family Out Here! We have a big website (lots of info/ lots of events) and a big program (players from around the world compete in our events) but we are a small time operation (based in San Diego) doing the best we can to help junior golfers and parents (like you!) on their road to college golf or just learning the game for the enjoyment of the sport. About Future Champions Golf
Our focus is to help junior golfers love the game of golf and provide the tools necessary to take their game to ahigher level. We provide programming for every level of junior golfers. You never grow out of Future Champions Golf. Currently we provide top quality golf instrcution through our Academy at Stadium Golf Center with FCG Founder, Chris Smeal and his staff of FCG Certified Instructors. Our academy caters to all levels of junior golfers from beginning student to collegiate athlete. We are proud to have over 35 players earn college scholarships already to some of the best schools in the US.
Our tournament program has quickly become one of the premier organizations in junior golf. Our passion separates us from other tours and our outreach is worldwide which create tremendous excitement for all involved. We have 4 unique series of events highlighted by our World Series Tournament Program. History of FCG Academy
A passion for helping kids play better golf sparked the launch of the Future Champions Golf Academy at Stadium Golf Center in end of 2003 with a launch date of January 1, 2004. The program originally featured private lessons, group classes, playing lessons, camps, and schools. Today in 2012 the program features private coaching and golf schools with Chris Smeal, PGA. Our signature Skills and Drills afterschool and weekend program is very popular as an affordable group training option. Our beginner classes introduce kids to the game in a variety of fun formats. Our summer and holiday camps featured beginner to advanced opportunities. Whatever your mission is for golf FCG has a solution and will help you reach your goals.

History of FCG Tour
Founded in 2003 by PGA Teaching Professional Chris Smeal, PGA as an instruction based program for all levels of junior golfers. With immediate success in helping kids love the game and take their game to the tournament level and then the collegiate level, Chris saw a need for a tournament program. In 2007, FCG launched the Callaway Golf Challenge Tour as a San Diego based 36-Hole Nationally Ranked Tournament Series. The tour was well received and we quickly built a reputation for providing a pga tour like experience for an affordbale price to our families. In 2008 we launched the San Diego Junior Amateur Championship to be the premier Winter Break event in the United States and the event quickly became just that. The event now features players from more than 15 states and 6 countries and a field size over 330 players. In 2008 we launched the San Diego Junior Masters to be held annually the week before the Callaway Junior World to prep players for the major event. The event was well received and this past year we reached 492 players from 25 countries. We developed the FCG World Championship in 2009 that also became an immediate success. the event is now annually held mid July at PGA West and La Quinta Resort. The event is the final event of our World Series Schedule. Our National Tour, Mini Tour, and Medalist Series programs are very popular as well. Please go to tournaments page for more information.
