FCG Rules & Regulations

"Here at Future Champions Golf we pride ourselves on offering our juniors and families the most fun and competitive environment in junior golf. At the same time we want to make the game faster and better prepare junior golfers for the collegiate level. Our commitment to Pace of Play will benefit everyone."

Tournament Director - Antrone Williams

“The pace of play at the recent Future Champions event at Redhawk was impressive, especially considering the long walks from green to tee. The kids were all playing ready golf, all the while helping each other look for lost balls, etc. The policy is super effective.” Cory Page- Parent of Junior Golfer

Pace of Play Guidelines

  • Ready Golf to be played at all times!
  • 1st and 2nd Player to Hole Out in Each Group Must go To the Next Tee and Tee Off. We have been doing this for groups who fall behind but we will now use this policy with every group all the way through each round.
  • Rules Officials and Marshals will have Red and Green Cards and Will Notify Players throughout the round if they are in Good Position or Behind.
  • 9-Hole Pace of Play Check-Point. If you receive a Green Card your group is in position. If you receive a Red Card that means you are behind your allotted time and need to catch up. Once behind all players must make an effort to catch up or will be subject to penalty.
  • Walking with Purpose - All players to walk with intent to reach their ball
  • When looking for a lost ball - Spectators should asssit player looking for ball and other players should continue to play their shots.
  • Players will be subject to penalty when out of position. A breakdown on how penalties are assessed will be given to you at the event.

We will be implementing these guidelines at all FCG Events including the FCG Mini-Tour.

New Policies always take more help to execute so if you are interested in helping us out as a volunteer please email us.

Our Last Golfweek series Event - All groups played in less than 4.5 hours. "Today was a very enjoyable round and I did not get tired! Thanks to FCG for implelementing this new policy. I look forward to more events at this pace! " - Tournament Player Testimonial

Our Last World Series Event - The FCG Las Vegas Championship we had pace of play between 4:15 and 4:45 for all players. There were over 95 players on each course. We are committed to continuing to develop a strong Pace of Play Program for all future FCG Events!
