The FCG National Tour played its 3rd Fall/ Winter series event at Woods Valley in Valley Center.
Congratulations to all of our players for competing and doing their best. Special congratulations to Boys All Star Champion Corey Shaun for winning the 18 and Under division at age 13 and earning a spot on the FCG National Team that will compete on January 9-10, 2010 at Pala Mesa. Earning the spot from the girls division is Poway High School's Annie McSorley who had a 79-77 to take honors. The event had a lot of very accomplished players including multiple Callaway Junior World Champions. Thank you all for playing and we will see you next week at Sandpiper Golf Club in Santa Barbara. From there the FCG National Tour heads to the 3rd Annual San Diego Junior Amateur, one of San Diego's best Junior Golf Championships.

Congratulations to 13 year old Corey Shaun for winning the Boys All Star Division with 2 solid rounds of 75-72. Corey earns a spot on the FCG National team which will compete on January 9-10th at Pala Mesa in a Ryder Cup Style Event. The course is definitely a lot more challenging from the tips and this division felt it. Solid final round by Bobby Gojuangco brought him into 2nd place.
