4th Annual San Diego Junior Masters Championship
2011 TOURNAMENT RECAP
The 4th Annual San Diego Junior Masters was the strongest and largest field we have had to date.
In all 491 junior golfers teed it up on various San Diego Courses including Carlton Oaks, Sycuan Resort, and Colina Park.
We cannot put this event together with out the tremendous support from our staff and volunteers but especially from the players and families that make this event truly unique. We are so blessed to have so many returning players each year from all around the world. This event is surely to be on everyone's schedules for years to come.

Puwit Anupansuebsai, last year's Callaway Junior World winner shot a new 36-Hole record with 7 Under Par!
Kate Villegas at just 8 years old scored a 6 under par 30 for 9-holes during the final round of the event.

We would like to thank our 2010 Boys 15-18 Champion Todd Baek for returning to this year's Junior Masters to hand out the Boys 15-18 Division Awards. Thank you for your continued support of the Future Champions Golf program! Todd made it to the quarterfinals of the United States Public Links Amateur last week and was featured all day on TV.
Thank you to Callaway Golf for your continued support of the Future Champions Golf program. Callaway gave out some of the best tee prizes to all participants as well as hosted a great long drive contest and putting contest open to all participants. The winners of the long drive contest each received a brand new Callaway stand bag.

Daniel Chian from Covina, CA is the 2011 San Diego Junior Masters Champion.
Daniel played the final round in just 68 strokes to win by a single stroke over 3 strong players

Dottie Ardina from the Philippines is the 2011 San Diego Junior Masters Champion for Girls 15-18. An impressive performance at Sycuan Resort, Dottie pieced together a 72-72-144 to win by a single stroke over 2nd place Suchaya Tangkamolprasert from Thailand who scored 71-74- 145. In 3rd place is defending Champion Andrea Unson from the Philippines and Sara Ababa also from the Philippines.
Ryan Ruffels from Australia is the 2011 San Diego Junior Masters Champion for Boys 13-14 Division.
Ryan played 2 solid rounds of 72-70 to win the division over 3rd place Sean Crocker from Westlake Village who fired 72-72.
Coming in 3rd place was a tie with Samuel Kim from Irvine, CA with 76-70 and from Taipei Yu Chun An.
Defending Champion Princess Superal Wins the 2011 San Diego Junior Masters for the Girls 13-14 Division. An impressive performance, Princess scored 72-69-141 to take the Championship. Coming in 2nd place Ssu Sa Cheng from taipei and first round leader Kitty Tam fro Hong Kong who both finished at 142.
Puwit Anupansuebsai , from Thailand sets the New Tournament Scoring Record for 36-Holes recording a 2-day 7 under par total. His 69-68 was just one stroke better than first round leader Tian Lang Guan. from China who opened with 66 and closed with 72 for a 6 under par 2nd place finish. Rounding out the top 3 is Robin Wang from Sarasota, Florida who fired rounds of 72-69 - 141. An incredible performance by all of our 11-12 players!

Muni He from British Columbia wins the Girls 11-12 Division by a single shot with her 74-75 - 149 performance.
Muni beat out 2nd place finisher Shannon Sui from San Diego and Sumire Noda from Japan. These players had the toughest test each day playing behind the morning groups and having to finish in the heat and wind. Great job ladies!
VIEW FINAL 11-12 GIRLS LEADERBOARD
Wo Cheng Ye, from China dominates this year's 9-10 Boys Division with a 7 Stroke Victory. Wo scored rounds of 68-73 to claim the title over 2nd place finisher Alexander Pak from San Clemente who shot 75-73 - 148. 3rd place finisher is Aaron Chen from Fremont, CA who had two solid rounds of 77-72.
VIEW FINAL 9-10 BOYS LEADERBOARD
Tiffany Kong from Vancouver, British Columbia wins the 2011 San Diego Junior Masters for the 9-10 Girls Division. Tiffany scored an impressive 35 - 35 for a 2 under par total on the Back 9 at Carlton Oaks. She just edged out 2nd place finishers Karah Sanford from Escondido and Harmie Constantion from the Philippines who finished 1 shot back at 1 under par.

Kota Murakami is the 2011 San Diego Junior Masters Champion for the 708 Boys Division. Kota a tremendous young player shot a Par 3 Tournament Record on Sunday with an 8 under par score! He then came to the main event and fired rounds of 36-34 -70 for a 2 under par total and a 1-stroke victory. Coming in a close 2nd is Wolfgang Glawe from Germany who shot rounds of 35-36 - 71. Coming in 3rd place is Jackson Rivera from Rossmoor, CA at 74!
VIEW FINAL BOYS 7-8 LEADERBOARD
WHAT A PERFORMANCE! 5 UNDER PAR - VICTORY GOES TO LUCY LI from Redwood Shores, CA. Lucy shot an impressive 36-31 -67 to win by 6 strokes in the Girls 7-8 Division! Coming in 2nd place is Arlene Salvador from Palmdale who fired a 1 over par 73. There was a tie for 3rd place with Kate Villegas who set a new 9-hole scoring record shooting a 6 under par 30 on day 2 after a tough 4 on day 1! She finished tied with Sophia Blanco who shot two solid rounds of 37-38.

The 6 and Under Divisions competed at Colina Park - Host site of the Callaway Junior World
Winning the Boys 6 and Under is Ken Sibuta from Japan with rounds of 55-59 on the par 54 layout. He won by 2 strokes over 2nd place Justin Dang of Anaheim, CA. In 3rd place is Pranay Singh and Allan Kournikova.
On the Girls side Alexa Pano from Florida was on fire and gave even par a run with rounds of 56-57 -113. 2nd Place finisher is Briana Castaldi from Florida. Camila Bosch from Mexico finishes in 3rd place.
