HOW TO PLAY GOLF IN THE RAIN

Playing golf in the rain can be a big challenge. If you have never played in the rain please read this carefully.
There are many other factors that you must consider when playing golf in the rain. If you are fortunate to
live here in San Diego you will not face rounds in the rain very often.

Rule #1: Be Prepared
You need to arrive at the course with all of the required tools for playing in wet and windy weather.
What to Wear:
Regular Golfing Attire: Slacks and Collared Shirt
PLUS: Rain Gear:
You should have rain pants that are water proof, rain and wind resistant jacket for warmth,
rain protection, and that is able to allow you to make your golf swing.
Umbrella:
You need an umbrella to cover yourself and your clubs.
Use the spokes of your umbrella to place a dry towel, your gloves in between shots.
Extra Gloves:
If you wear a glove, bring a few extra as they get wet you will need to switch.

 

When you are hitting a shot....Put your umbrella next to your bag, keep the towel dry in the spokes of the umbrella.
SWING SMOOTHE AND EASY
Take an extra club.
Be cautious of the wind.
