Chris's Teaching Philosophy for Kids

I try to teach the game in a very simple matter. No big words, no confusion. I like to work with my student based on his or her goals, natural ability, and body type. I want my students to enjoy the game at all times. Laugh off the bad shots and admire the good one's. I teach the golf swing building in a solid routine so the thoughts of grip, set-up, and posture can be trained on the range, and second-nature on the course. I teach my students how to understand why their golf shots are doing what they do. Ball Flight Laws are the key to playing good golf, you must understand why and how shots are created so you can create the shots you need on the golf course. I like to show you on video what is going on and how and why we need to fix it for you to reach your goals as a golfer. The short game is extremely important and should be taught early on and practiced the most. Build up your strengths and improve your weaknesses to help become a better golfer.
