The Callaway FCG National Tour played the 2nd Annual Oakley International Stroke Play at the Barona Creek Resort. Barona Creek is proud host of the 2007 and 2010 Nationwide Tour Championship. The players were treated to great conditions and an international field of competitors. Congratulations to all of our 2010 Champions. All of our 2010 Champions were treated to Free Oakley Sunglasses. Boys 15-18

Yuji Nakamura
2010 Champion

Yuji Nakamura from Japan defends his title and wins the Oakley International Stroke Play! Yuji has played in our events the past 3 years and has proved his strength and skills in each of our events. This year it took a sudden death playoff to get the title. Yuji and San Diego Native Bobby Gojuangco tied for the lead after regulation at 145. On the 1st playoff hole Bobby hit it in the hazard right going for the par 5 first in 2 and made a bogey. Yuji poured in an 8 footer for birdie to clinch the title. Coming in 3rd place is Jonathin Ratcliffe from New Zealand with rounds of 73-73. Way to go players!

Girls 15-18

Kathleen Crossley
2010 Champion

Kathleen Crossley from San Diego is the 2010 Oakley Champion! Kathleen put together an impressive opening round 73 despite a plethora of putts. Her solid ball striking gave her a great overnight lead. She won the event with a 2-day 153 total. Coming in 2nd place is Torrey Pines Standout Stacey Rayo at 155. Coming in 3rd place is Poway's Julia Kang who had rounds of 81-78.

Way to go ladies!

 

Boys 13-15

Ryan Graf
2010 Champion

Ryan Graf wins the Oakley Stroke Play! Ryan is a first time winner on our tour and played 2 solid rounds of golf firing 77-76 to claim the victory of Mexico's Bruno Tostado by 10 strokes. Our 3rd palce finisher is Louie Molina at 170!

Haley Moore
2010 Champion

Haley Moore is a force to reckon with! This girl conitinues to put up good numbers and is very determined to play well each event. She scores rounds of 78-79 to claim the title. Coming in 2nd place is Felicia Paulina Medalla from the Phillipines with rounds of 84-80. Our 3rd place finisher is Monica Matsubara from Singapore who fired rounds of 84-81. Way to go 11-14 Girls!
