Welcome to the Home Page for the FCG National Team. Our team is comprised of players who compete regularly on the FCG National Tour and have qualified through our qualifying events.
OUR NEXT TEAM EVENT WILL BE PLAYED DURING THE FCG NATIONAL TOUR NOR CAL CHAMPIONSHIP. THE FOLLOWING PLAYERS HAVE EARNED A SPOT ON THE TEAM FOR FCG. WE WILL COMPETE AGAINST 14 NCGA PLAYERS IN A TEAM STROKE PLAY EVENT.

Boys 15-18: Jonah Texeira and Christopher Tuulik
Girls 15-18: Casie Cathrea and Annie McSorley
Boys 13-15: Tyler Moore and Sibo Yan
Girls 11-14: Haley Moore and Jessica Mangrobang
Boys 11-12: Norman Xiong and Sahith Theegala
Boys 10 and Under: Devon Bling and Blake Petchel
Girls 10 and Under: Karah Sanford and Waverly Whiston
(these players must sign up for the FCG Nor Cal Championship to reserve your spot on the team. The FCG Tournamament Committee will choose replacements for those who cannot attend the event.

FCG National Team plays against the JAGS Tour in a close match at the Pala Mesa Resort on January 9-10, 2010. The event ends in a Tie! We will compete again in January 2011.

Practice Rounds at Pala Mesa are $35 anytime until tournament after 12pm.
Mandatory Team Meeting Saturday the 9th at 6:45am on the Pala Mesa Driving Range
2010 Player Roster
Current Qualified Players who will represent FCG at the North-South Cup on January 9-10, 2010 at Pala Mesa. 6 Boys and 6 Girls Age 13-18 will compete in a ryder cup style format against the JAGS Tour.
TODD BAEK
Todd Baek , Age 17 , Rancho Bernado High School. Qualified for the team by winning the FCG National Tour Fall Series Opener at Carlton Oaks. Todd also won the 2009 San Diego Jr Amateur and the FCG World CHampionship.
PAOLO PAVON
Paolo Pavon from Mexico qualified by winning the FCG National Tour Event at Carlton Oaks on September 26-27, 2009. She followed up that win by winning our 2nd event at Sycuan on October 10-11.
TYLER MOORE
Tyler Moore from Escondido has made the squad by also winning the FCG National Tour Carlton Oaks Championship. Tyler had a great 2009 season finishing in 2nd Place in the FCG World Championship, US Kids World Championship, and Callaway Junior World. He was also player of the year in the 11-12 Division on 3 Tours including FCG Challenge Tour, SDJGA, and the FCWT Tour. Tyler is a student at the FCG National Academy since October 2008.
JONAH TEXEIRA
Jonah Texeira from Northridge has made the team from winning the Sycuan Championship on October 10-11. The 13 Year old won the Boys All Stars 18 and Under Division to make the team. Jonah is also a student at the FCG National Academy training since 2008.
JAKE SCORNAVACCO
Jake Sconavacco makes the team winning the Boys 13-15 Division Championship at Sycuan Championship winning a 3 way playoff. Jake is from Rancho Santa Fe and a student at the FCG National Academy.
COURTNEY HOOTON
Courtney Hooton has been selected to represent the FCG National Team at the North South Cup on January 9-10th with her victory at the 2009 FCG World Championship at Pala Mesa. She brings an impressive resume to the squad.
COREY SHAUN
Winning the 3rd event of the Fall/Winter Series is Corey Shaun age 13 who in 2009 was the Callaway Junior World Champion for the 11-12 division shooting an impressive 12 under par total. Corey in his first All Star event outlasted all of the older boys to take the title shooting 75-72. Corey will be a great asset to the team.
ANNIE McSORLEY
Winning the 3rd event of the Fall Series for the Girls Championship is Annie McSorley from Poway High School. Annie shot 2 rounds in the 70's to take the title and earn a spot on the team. We look forward to having Annie and her golfing talent and great personality with us at the event in January.
Kameron Kubis
Kameron Kubis makes the 2010 Team by coming in 2nd place at the FCG Santa Barbara Championship at Sandpiper in the Boys All Star Division. Kameron is a fantastci player from Scripps Ranch High School.
CASIE CATHREA
Winning the FCG Santa Barbara Championship for the Girls is Casie Cathrea from Livermore, CA. Casie has had a tremendous year so far winning the California Women's Amateur and qualifying and competing in the LPGA CVS Championship. She brings a lot of personality to the FCG Team
