The Callaway National Tour played another spectacular venue on August 9-10th at
San Diego's #1 Ranked Golf Course - Maderas Golf Club in Poway, CA.

Boys 15-18

Cody Miller
2010 Champion

Cody Miller breaks through and earns his first victory on the Callaway National Tour firing rounds of 70-71 for an under par 141. Cody is a fantastic player and will continue to shoot low scores in tournaments. Coming in 2nd place is Rito Armenta who is new to the Callaway National Tour. Rito played two solid rounds at 76-69. His final round 69 was the low round of the tournament. Tieing for 3rd place was two local players - Tyler Moore a powerhouse on our tour moved up to the 15-18 division as a 13 year old and proved his strength. Also finishing in 3rd was Brandon Mai from Poway, CA who shot rounds of 73-73. Very solid play from our upper division players.

Girls 15-18

Blair Lewis
2010 Champion

Blair Lewis wins the 2010 Maderas Summer Championship on the Callaway National Tour. Blair a San Diego top player scored 167 for two days to win the championship. Coming in 2nd place is Paris Griffith from San Diego at 169. Our 3rd place finisher is a tie with Kelsey Peters from Vista and Julia Kang from Poway at 174.

 

Boys 11-12

Blake Petchel
2010 Champion

 

Blake Petchel wins the Boys 11-12 in a strong field of players. Blake fired rounds of 80-78 to win by just 1 shot over Hawaii native Cole Shintaku who had 159 and just missed a playoff with Blake. Coming in 3rd place is Cade Shackelford from Solana Beach, CA. Way to go young guns!!!

GIRLS 11-14

Haley Moore
2010 Champion

Haley Moore wins again with some strong play at Maderas. An opening round 70 gave her a big lead in the 2 day event. She closed with an 80 to take the title. Haley is coming off a huge 2nd place finish at the US Kids World Championship at Pinehurst last week. Coming in 2nd place at Maderas is San Diego's Georgia Lacey who fired rounds of 77-79! 3rd place honors go to Kexin Zhen at 166.
