FCG National Tour Fall Series at Temecula Creek
Future Champions Golf National Tour held a fantastic event at the beautiful Temecula Creek Inn Golf Course in Temecula, CA on November 1-2, 2014. A total of 70 junior golfers competed from multiple states and featured a range of talent including some of the best in the world. We would like to congratulate Princess Superal, 2014 USGA Junior Girls Champion on her victory in the FCG College Prep Division. She had an opening round 8 birdie, 2 bogies and total of 66. Then on day 2 a smooth 2 under par 70 to get her to 8 under par total for the weekend and a 6 stroke victory of 2nd place finisher Pauline Del Rosario, our 2014 FCG International Champion who also was visiting from the Philippines. In 3rd place was immensely talented Karah Sanford from Escondido who had rounds of 74-69.
In the Boys College Prep Division we would like to congratulate Puwit Anupansuebsai from Thailand who had an amazing final round 65 to win the division. His two day total of 2 under par gave him a 3stroke victory over 2nd place finisher Storm Lee from Murrieta who had rounds of 72-73. Coming in 3rd place was Temecula native Kaden Page who fired rounds of 72-74.
The Boys 13-14 division was a close event with Christopher Chomyn, from Irvine, CA winning with rounds of 79-74. 2nd place by a single stroke was B.K. Kim from Korea with a two day 154 total. In 3rd place was Guy Clauss from Newport Beach, CA with a 155 total.
In the Girls 11-14 Division Golda Castellanos from Mexico claimed 1st place with rounds of 85-85 to win by a single shot over Kamille Dimayuga from Buena Park, CA. 3rd place finisher was Siti Sarah Feizal Nor at 174 total.
Kyle An from Aliso Viejo won the Boys 11-12 division with a one day 81 total.
Boys 10 and Under Division Champion is Ryan Plodkowski from Del Mar who shot an 85. |
