TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
Here is a list of tournaments you should play in during your Sophomore, Junior, and Senior years.
This when you need to get some exposure to College Coaches. Keep a detailed record of all the tournaments you play in, your score, and your finish.
In The Fall of 2005 you should play on the California Junior Tour.
There are 20 two-day weekend golf events that run from September through April.

The Buick Invitational Amateur Qualifier takes place in November of each year.
Please call the Century Club of San Diego to find out when the entries are released.

During the Spring just play in all of your high school matches. Keep track of your results.
Establish a SCGA Handicap at the beginning of the year. You can usually buy your handicap in
October for the following year. Log onto the SCGA website and the USGA website and under tournaments you will see a list of Amateur events that you should play in.

Other Options for Events include the SCPGA Junior Golf Tour which is based out of Palm Springs.
They have events almost every day of the summer. Great competition!!!

San Diego Junior Golf Association tournaments are great for exposure as well.
They have events all summer long. Try and qualify for the Championship Division. The first events
of the summer are usually the events that if you finish well you can qualify for the
Junior World Championship at Torrey Pines.
