The Future Champions Golf Challenge Tour and Instruction Programs are structured to prepare junior golfers for the collegiate and professional level.
If you are interested in playing College Golf then this is the Tour for you.
We stand out for many reasons.
- Our Events are professionally run and operated by PGA Professionals and Apprentices.
- Our events are affordable in comparison to other tours thanks to the Callaway Golf Company who is our title sponsor and eager to assist in the development of junior golfers.
- At the conclusion of our events the results are transmitted straight to college coaches via email.
- Future Champions Golf is the Junior Tour of the future helping you develop your way to the top.
SELF PROMOTION: The Future Champions Golf Program would like to advise all players and parents that the #1 thing you must do for your junior golfer who is wanting to play college golf is to self-promote. You do not have to play every tournament across the country to do this. The key is to play in 36 to 54-hole tournaments and let the coaches of the schools you want to attend know who you are, how you are playing, what your goals are, and why you are a good fit for their college program. College Coaches want determined players who are working hard on their golf game and can be developed while at the college they attend.
Tips:
#1:
Register online at www.collegegolf.com to see your timeline of when you should be contacting coaches and beginning the recruiting process.
#2: Most players put too much unneeded stress on getting coaches to see them. Just focus on becoming the best player you can be. Then let coaches know who you are and follow up with them. They like persistence.
#3: When you begin to contact coaches try the following:
- Send a Letter and resume to the coach
- Follow up with an email one week later to see if the coach received your letter
- Send a Recommendation letter from your golf coach or instructor one week after that.
- Periodically drop the coach a message and let him or her know what events you have coming up.
