The Callaway FCG National Tour held this weekend's event at Carlton Oaks Golf Course. Carlton Oaks is home to the annual San Diego Junior Masters, US Open Qualifying, PGA Tour Qualifying, and the 2010 NCAA Mens Western Regional Event. A great tournament course designed by Perry Dye!

Always a fun division to watch in the Girls 9-10 Division. Coming in 1st off her win a few weeks back at the LA City Championship is Waverly Whiston who played two great rounds. She opened with a 2 under par 34, 2 strokes ahead of Cecelia DeMatteo. On Day 2 the action was really close coming down to the last hole with the top 4 players within a couple shots of each other. Waverly birdied to win the division. Cecelia takes 2nd place honors with her solid 36-38 performance. Jade Siphomsay takes 3rd place coming off a win at last week's SDJGA event.
The most exciting finish came in our young 8 and under Boys Division. After 18-Holes was complete we had a tie for 1st between Brett Sodetz and Dylan Fritz. These 2 play a lot together and they claim this maybe their 7th playoff against each other. Coming on top this time is Brett Sodetz after 3 holes of sudden death playoff. Dylan takes 2nd place and 3rd place goes to San Diego's Andrew Jung. Since both Brett and Dylan are exempt for Junior World then Andrew Jung will take the spot!
8 Young ladies competed 2 days at the Las Vegas Championship. Our champion comes all the way from Honolulu, Hi shooting 37-42 to win by 4 strokes over San Diego's Brianna Navarossa. Coming in 3rd place is Daisy Wan from San Marino, CA. Way to girls...
